A Tribute to My Cousin Michael Empey
Mike and I grew up next door to each other and for as long as I can remember he was a brother to me. He is behind my love of WWF and sour pickles and we spent every Saturday morning watching wrestling. I loved our time together. He was gentle and loving.
Mike's laugh was infectious and I can still hear it in my mind today. He rarely didn't smile.
He loved to draw and I loved when he would share his newest creations. He was very talented.
Sadly as we grew older and our lives changed Mike and I did not see each other often but the love you have for family never goes away.
Mike faced challenges in his life but the man I described is the only Mike that I will keep in my heart forever.
All my love to him and those who loved him. May you rest in peace my cousin.
