Wayne T Giannitelli

Wayne Thomas Giannitelli, a lifelong resident of Attleboro passed away after a prolonged illness in Stoughton on Wednesday December 16, 2015. He was 57 years old and the loving father of Nicole G. Giannitelli of Attleboro and the beloved brother of Angelo Giannitelli III and wife Ruth of Bridgeport,CT. and Fr. Michael C. Giannitelli of Clinton, CT.  Other survivors include his special cousin and faithful  loving caretaker Maryann Draine and husband Gene of North Attleboro and many other relatives and friends.

Born September 3, 1958 in Attleboro, Massachusetts, Wayne was a son to the late Angelo Giannitelli Jr. and Allison (Abbott) Giannitelli. He attended Attleboro Public Schools and was a 1977 graduate of Attleboro High School. Wayne was a self – employed handyman and could work wonders with any project he took on. He was an avid Boston sports fan. The Patriots and Red Sox being his favorites. He also enjoyed playing softball in his earlier years. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his funeral mass on Saturday December 19, 2015 at 12:00 noon in St. John the Evangelist Church, 1 St. John’s Place, Attleboro,MA. His beloved  brother Fr. Michael C. Giannitelli, officiating. Interment will be private. A celebration of Wayne’s life will continue at Morin’s Hometown Bar & Grille, 16 S. Main St. Attleboro immediately following the church service. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.
