Shirley L. Gallagher

Shirley Louise ( Rowe ) Gallagher, a resident of Stoughton, formerly of Jamaica Plain and West Roxbury passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2009 at The Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was 83 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Gallagher Jr.

Shirley was born in Quincy, Massachusetts on March 20, 1926. She attended Quincy Public Schools. She was a very dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great - grandmother, Aunt and friend. She was a communicant and attended The Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton.

Her survivors include her children, Maureen Gallagher, Thomas F. Gallagher III and his wife Ginny, Kevin Gallagher, Francis Gallagher, Michael Gallagher and Diane Gallagher all of Stoughton, her grandchildren, Tracy Allen, Melissa Gregory, Douglas Zeolla, Derek Zeolla, Brittany Zeolla, Michael Gallagher, Brian Gallagher and Lauren Gallagher. She is also survived by her great - grandchildren, John Gillis, Kristin Gillis, Brenden Gillis, Leala Garcia, Isabella Zeolla, Douglas Zeolla Jr., many nieces, nephews, friends and her loving sister Margaret Shea of Wolfboro, New Hampshire.

Her funeral will be held on Friday May 8, 2009 at 9:15 A.M. from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Followed by a mass of Christian burial for the repose of her soul at 10:30 A.M. in The Immaculate Conception Church,122 Canton Street, Rt. 27 Stoughton. Cremation to follow.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday May 7, 2009 from 6 - 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
