Dollard (Stappen), Ruth F., of Stoughton, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025 at the age of 79.Loving wife of the late James O. Dollard Sr. Loving mother of the late James O. Dollard Jr. and wife Susan Dollard, and Daniel W. Dollard, and wife Donna Dollard of Bridgewater, MA.Loving Grandmother of Nicholas Dollard and wife Monica, Taylor Dollard, Amanda Dollard and Kenneth Dollard.Great Grandchildren Gavin and Ivy.Daughter of the late Everett and Ruth (Riley) Stappen.Dear Sister of Mildred Ritz (late husband Pat), Ronnie Stappen, Russell Stappen, Gordon Stappen (late wife Rita), Sandra Higgins, and the late Charles Stappen, Everett Stappen and late wife Nona, Pat Johnson, Arthur Stappen and late wife Pat, Madlyn Stappen, Raymond Stappen, Richie Stappen, and Kenny Stappen.

Ruthie retired as a long-time worker/supervisor at Joseph Pollak Corp in Dorchester and Canton.

Ruthie was a great cook. She loved to play Bingo and go on road trips with her husband. They loved going to flea markets and movies on the weekends. She also enjoyed watching Survivor, The Amazing Race and all police dramas. Ruthie was also a fan of coffees from DD. She will be greatly missed.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday April 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the services at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.
