Nancy Ruth (Carle) Heirty

Nancy Ruth (Carle) Heirty a longtime resident of Stoughton passed away on Tuesday April 26, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was 89 years old, and the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Heirty Jr. Mrs. Heirty is survived by her loving children, Debra Flynn and husband Joseph of Stoughton, Donna O’Donnell and husband Richard of Acton, Maine, Charles J. “JOE” Heirty III of Stoughton and Diane Pucino and husband Anthony of Norton, MA. She is also survived by her brother John Carle of Stoughton, her 7 cherished grandchildren, William Flynn and wife Laurie of Raynham, MA, Richard O’Donnell Jr. of Belfast, Maine, Thomas O’Donnell and wife Tatyana of Saco, Maine, Jeffrey Gosselin also of Saco, Maine, Ian Wilson of Florida, Nicholas Pucino of Norton, MA, Jessica Pucino of Taunton, MA, and her 2 great- grandchildren, Connor Flynn of Raynham, MA and Grayson Gosselin of Saco, Maine.

Born July 11, 1932, in Bridgewater, Massachusetts Nancy was the only daughter born to the late J. Albert Carle and Harriet (Bliss) Carle. She attended Stoughton Public Schools, was a graduate of Stoughton High School and later attended Nursing School. She enjoyed crocheting, vacationing at Cape Cod and playing the slots at the casino. She was also a former Girl Scout Leader in Stoughton. Nancy was a very dedicated daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great – grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A funeral service of remembrance will be held on Saturday April 30, 2022, at 10:30 A.M. from the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Visitation with the family will take place prior to the funeral service from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Interment will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MA.
