Mildred Annette Maraglia passed away peacefully on July 18 at the age of 97. She was born on April 7, 1928, in Boston to Harriet E.R. (Fahey) and Frederick G. Maynard. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph; her son, Edward; and her brothers Charles, Ralph, and Walter, all of whom held a special place in her heart. She is survived by a nephew and several nieces, including Rena Webber of Plymouth and Cheryl Perry of Stoughton, as well as her good friend Jean McDonough. Millie was a longtime resident of Stoughton and, more recently, Brockton.
Millie had a soft spot for animals, especially her beloved cat. She was a favorite among both residents and staff at the nursing home where she resided, known for her warm smile and friendly nature. She enjoyed playing bingo, attending musical performances, and participating in group activities.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Millie's memory to a charity of your choice.
