Michael J. McCarthy

McCarthy, Michael J., of Stoughton, July 17, 2007. Age 71 years. Beloved son of the late William E. McCarthy Sr. and Beatrice L. ( Robichaud) McCarthy. Loving brother of Jeanne R. Rist of Stoughton, John T. McCarthy Sr. of Canton, Alice M. O'Connor of Stoughton, Robert L. McCarthy of Dedham, Laura L. Jewett of Arcola, Indiana and Barbara Morrissey of South Easton. He was preceaded in death by his two brothers, William E. McCarthy Jr. and Gerald F. McCarthy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting hours to which relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend will be held on Thursday July 19, 2007 from 4 - 8 P.M. in The Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, ( OFF RT. 138 AT THE WEBSTER BANK), Stoughton. His funeral service will be held on Friday July 20, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. The Pastor Rev. Patricia Hayes, Christ Congregational Church, UCC, Brockton, officiating. Burial will follow in the family lot at Avon Cemetery, Avon .In lieu of flowers, donations to The Stoughton Council On Aging, PO Box 582, Stoughton, MA 02072 or The American Cancer Society, 1115 West Chestnut St., Brockton, MA 02301 in Michael's memory, would be appreciated.
