Matthew Z. Kelly

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Matthew Zach Kelly. Matt left us far too soon, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Born in Stoughton, Massachusetts August 30, 1991, Matthew was a graduate of Stoughton High School Class of 2009'. He then moved to New York city and graduated from The School of Visual Arts with a focus on his passion for Photography.

Matt leaves behind his devoted husband Tanner Saunders of New York city by way of Texas. He was the cherished son of Jim and Nancy Kelly of Stoughton, MA and a loving brother to James Kelly and wife Jessica and Andrew Kelly and wife Nicole. Matthew was also a loving uncle to Madison, Austin, Charlotte and Filomena. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and a great number of friends that became his extended family throughout the years.

Matthew's passions were as diverse and colorful as his spirit. Matt loved travelling all over the world. Taylor Swift and his Corgi affectionately named Splenda. He possessed an innate artistic eye, expressing his unique perspective through his beloved career in photography. He saw beauty in what others missed in everyday life, capturing fleeting moments with his camera and transforming them into timeless memories.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, his adventurous spirit, his artistic talent and the immense love he held for his family and friends. While our hearts are broken by his sudden departure, we take comfort in the beautiful memories he leaves behind and the profound impact he had on so many lives.

Visiting hours with the family will be held on Monday July 7, 2025, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton.  (Update 7- 6-2025) / Matthew's funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home and the celebration of Matt's life will continue until 12 p.m. (NOONTIME) ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. CREMATION WILL FOLLOW.

NOTE: There will also be a collation for all those who can make it following Tuesdays services at the VFW Post 1645, 14 Seaver Street, Stoughton.
