Michael E. Ayer, of Stoughton, Massachusetts died at age 75 in his home after long-term illness.
Michael was raised in Mamaroneck, NY by parents Frank and Ann Ayer. He studied social work at Roger Williams University and held several jobs in the social work field in Rhode Island during his career.
Mike is survived by his son Michael R. (Katelyn) Ayer and daughter Victoria Ayer, brother Richard (Cheryl) Ayer, step-brother Dario (Wendy) Rosso, and step-mom Harriet Ayer, as well as grandson Noah and granddaughter Scarlett. Mike is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, and dear friends including Karen Porter, and his brother-for-life, Ernie Winchester.
Mike is pre-deceased by his parents, and step-brother Jay (Shuyi) Rosso.
Mike was a member of a motorcycle club and was a lover of bikes, tattoos, animals, native- American art and culture and rock music.
Spreading of ashes will be private, at locations of Mike's choosing. Friends may consider making a donation to their nearest animal shelter in his name.
