Kathleen B. (Read) Reese

Kathleen B. (Read) Reese, 89 of Stoughton passed away on November 27, 2021. Affectionately known as "Kay", Kathleen was born on October 20, 1932 to the late Carmen and Kathleen (Livingston) Read. She was raised and educated in Hyde Park and had been a resident of Stoughton for the past sixty years. Kathleen worked for BPM/Shaws for many years, before retiring in 1991. She enjoyed reading, bowling, outings with her many friends, and visiting with her loved ones. She also enjoyed travelling, especially bus trips with the Merry Travelers. Kathleen was the wife of the late Robert G. "Bud" Reese for 38 years, until his death in 1988. She will be remembered for her strong, independent spirit.
Kathleen is survived by her children, Robert G. Reese Jr. and his wife Mary of Bridgewater, and Donald R. Reese and his wife Beverly of NH; her grandchildren; Donald Reese Jr. and his wife Celene, Kori Parkinson and her husband Scott, Eric Reese, Kevin Reese and his wife Mary Kerkorian, and Kelsey Bower and her husband Joshua; nine great-grandchildren: Darnell, Riley, Taylor, Sean, Ryan, Raymond, Danielle, Ivy, and Jase; her sister Calva Carlson of FL; her brother Carmen Reade and his wife Rose of Westport; and several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was predeceased by her siblings Donald Reade and Marjorie Dustin. Per Kathleen's request, no services will be held. Arrangements are by the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk St, Stoughton.
