KIRSTIN RIIKONEN Obituary

Kirstin L. Riikonen, a resident of Norton, passed away at home on Monday April 18, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Earl G. McMann. Other survivors include her two step- sons, Shawn McMann and Ross McMann, her brother Chad Riikonen of Wellesley, her aunt Sally Brown of Leominster and her caring sister-in-law Jean Inman of Avon, MA.

Born October 11, 1969, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts Kirstin was the daughter to the late Douglas Lee Riikonen and Patricia Jean (Kendall) Riikonen. She attended Wellesley Public Schools, Wheelock College, and LaSalle University. Kirstin was a teacher at both the St. John’s School in Wellesley and the Wellesley Montessori School. She enjoyed spending quality time with her husband, sister-in-law, co-workers, and friends. She was also a member of the Norfolk Lions Club and regularly attended meetings with her husband. Kirstin will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday April 24, 2022, from 12:00 noon – 3 p.m. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Funeral services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kirstin’s memory may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
