Joan T. (Jones) White of Stoughton, formerly of Boston, passed away unexpectedly in Boston on Monday May 8, 2023. She was 65 years old and the beloved wife of Joseph White. She was the beloved mother to Garvin White of Stoughton, Philo-Marie White and spouse Jarred Jeter of Boston, Malcolm White of Easton and the late Joanne J. White. Other survivors include her siblings Cyril Jones in Canada, Joseph Jones in Antigua, Rosey Jones in London, Ernie Jones in New York, Rosa Jones in Canada, Wynant Jones in Boston, Edith Jones in Antigua, Michael "Stalin" Green in Dominica, Concerta Paul in Dominica, Fanela Green in Dominica and her 4 grandchildren, Jahmare White, Ava White, Jonah Jeter and Jacob Jeter.
Mrs. White was born to Rupert and Greta (Roberts) Jones on August 11, 1957, in Roseau, Dominica. She attended Junior College and was employed by Bank of America for many years. She loved gardening, travelling by car, not flying, reading, especially Danielle Steele and crime novels, entertaining and hosting parties at her home and most of all being around her family. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday June 2, 2023, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Her funeral mass will be held on Saturday June 3, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 560 Page Street, N. Stoughton. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 Washington Street, Stoughton. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.
