Joan Ann (Corbett) Hansen, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born November 28,1943 in Brockton and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Margaret (Taylor) Corbett.
Joan was the loving mother of Jeffrey Hansen and wife Christy of Hampton Va., Timothy Hansen and wife Brooke of Holden, Ma., and Kathrine Teixeira and husband Elvis of Wareham. Joan is also survived by 10 grandchildren, William, Colby, Maddison, Maura, Jack, John Paul, Joseph, Faith, Peter and Luke. Proud great grandmother to Caiden. Brother Robert Davis and former husband George Hansen. Her partner in crime - life long sidekick and best friend, identical twin Jane Camarra and husband Lee.
Joan was preceded in death by brother Edward Corbett. Joan worked many years for Brookfield Engineering until her retirement. Joan loved traveling with her twin sister and had an adventurous spirit, parasailing for the first time after retirement. You could find Joan chasing fires and watching storms at Nantasket Beach. She was a member of the Fruit Loops Square Dance Club and the 20/40 Club. Joan's greatest joy came from spending time with her family, being called mom, nana, and yaya.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory to AccentCare Hospice Center, 597 Randolph Ave. Milton Ma. 02186 would be greatly appreciated. The family would also like to thank Cornerstone Caregiving of Stoughton staff and all the AccentCare staff for the tremendous care and kindness provided.
A private graveside service will be held to honor Joan's life.
