Preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Viola Polillio, and brother Frank Polillio. Beloved wife of Martin G. Cohenno Jr. (E-5 / U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.) Treasured mother to Lori Cederquist of Stoughton and Mario Cohenno of Stoughton and Anson, Maine. She was cherished by her grandchildren, Emily Manning and Colby Manning, affectionately known to them as "Mims". She also leaves behind her best friend and twin sister, Janet Polillio of Stoughton and sister Camille and husband Sasha of Stoughton. Janice will be truly missed by her extended family, including numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
To know Janice was to love her. She was strong, honest, selfless, caring, and had a great sense of humor. She always had a listening ear open for anyone who needed it and offered the best advice. She was a proud Italian American and a member of the Daughters of Italy Minerva Lodge in Stoughton for many years. She loved shopping. Especially when it was with her twin Janet and granddaughter Emily, reading her magazines, HGTV, the Red Sox, Cape Cod, cooking and most importantly spending time with her family. She was a hairdresser by trade, running Twin Beauty Salon in Stoughton with her sister Janet for over fifty years. They were extremely successful, styling thousands of women over the years. Janice will be truly missed, but her legacy will surely live on forever.
