James O Dollard

James O. Dollard Sr. a 26 year resident of Stoughton, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on Thursday December 23, 2021 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was 79 years old and the beloved husband of Ruth F. (Stappen) Dollard. He was the loving father of Daniel Dollard and his wife Donna of Bridgewater and the late James O. Dollard Jr. and his surviving wife Susan of Stoughton. Other survivors include his 4 grandchildren, Nicholas Dollard and wife Monica, Kenneth Dollard of Stoughton, Taylor Dollard and Amanda Dollard of Bridgewater and his 2 great-grandchildren Gavin Dollard and Ivy Dollard both of Stoughton.

Jim was employed by the Roofers Union Local 33 in Stoughton for many years. He enjoyed CB radio communications and was a loyal Boston Red Sox Fan. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Funeral prayers will be offered at 12 noon on Wednesday December 29, 2021 in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. NOTE: Visitation will be held prior to the prayers from 11 am – 12 noon.  ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Flowers are welcome.
