Obituary
Gorette Fortuna Rebelo, a long-time resident of Stoughton for 48 years, passed away at home on Sunday, April 10, 2022 surrounded by her beloved husband Abel Rebelo, cherished children Natalie Kelly and Jason Rebelo. She is predeceased by her loving son Nicholas Rebelo. She was 67 years old.
Besides her husband and children Mrs. Rebelo is survived by her sisters, Albertina Gareri and Lourdes Cabral, her brothers Rafael Fortuna, Armando Fortuna, Humberto Fortuna, Lino Fortuna and Luis Fortuna, her 4 grandchildren, Kristalyn, Cristiano, Victoria and Alyssia and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Born May 7, 1954 in Faial, Acores, Portugal, Gorette was a daughter born to the late Manuel Fortuna and Lucilia Da Fonte Fortuna. She was employed by the former ACME Boot Company, Analog Devices and Power General. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. from the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Rt. 27 Stoughton. The Pastor Fr. Carlos Suarez, officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
