Obituary

“Elder Melva Jean (Mann) Allen” the beloved wife of over 64 years to Bishop Kelly Allen, passed away on Tuesday April 5, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Massachusetts. She was 83 years old. Mrs. Allen was a loving mother to Belinda Needleman and husband David of Attleboro, MA, Kelly Allen Jr. of Stoughton, MA, Phyllis Needleman and late husband Arnie of Canton, MA, Curtis Allen and wife Tabitha of Decatur, Georgia and Timothy Allen and wife Celestine also of Attleboro, MA. Melva was also a sister to Uteen Cooper and late husband Hargrove of North Carolina and Mac Mann and wife Shirley of Hartford, Connecticut. Other survivors include her 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Allen will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A celebration of Melva’s life will be held on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at 12:00 noon from the House Of God Church (Keith Dominion), 1271 Park Street, Rt. 27 Stoughton. Bishop C. K. Butler, officiating. Visiting with the family will be held prior to the funeral service from 11a.m. - 12 noon. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Mrs. Allen will be laid to rest immediately following the conclusion of the funeral service at Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 Washington Street, Rt. 138, Stoughton.
