Claire M. Bruno

Claire M. (Giangrande) Bruno of Stoughton, passed away after a prolonged illness on Monday September 20, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was 74 years old. She was the loving mother of John Bruno of Hanson, Kimberly Mulrey of Rockland, Karen Bruno of Quincy and the beloved sister of Karen Flynn of Stoughton. Other survivors include her 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was also a sister to the late Richard Giangrande, Alfred Giangrande and Donna Giangrande.

Born April 30, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts, Claire was a daughter to the late Domenic Giangrande and Caroline (Ghelfi) Giangrande. She was employed by Aetna Insurance for many years. Her hobbies included dancing and listening to music. She loved life and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing her.

Claire’s funeral prayer service will be held on Thursday September 23, 2021 at 3p.m. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 1p.m. - 3p.m. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Cremation will follow and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Claire’s memory can be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
