Celestino V. Eduardo a longtime resident of Stoughton passed away at home on Friday April 24, 2020. He was 81 years old and the beloved husband of Maria J. Silva – Eduardo of Stoughton. Other survivors include his two sons, Walter M. Eduardo of Waltham, Anthony C. Eduardo and wife Kathleen of Framingham, his four grandchildren, Avery, Macen, Elliano, Amelia, an Aunt, sister’s - in – law, brothers – in – law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Mr. Eduardo was also a husband to the late Elvira Eduardo.
Celestino was born February 24, 1939 in Flores, Azores, Portugal to the late Manuel M. Eduardo and Maria (Valadao) Eduardo. He was employed as a factory worker for both the former Corcoran Shoe / Boot Co. and Spoontiques Co. in Soughton for many years. He was a communicant and attended the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. His hobbies included gardening and reading. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A funeral mass for Mr. Eduardo will be held on Saturday September 19, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the St. James Stoughton Church. Burial was held privately at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
