Beverley Jeanne Chamberlin of North Easton, formerly of Stoughton passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, surrounded by her devoted family. She was the loving wife of over 53 years to David R. Chamberlin of North Easton and the beloved mother of Elizabeth S. Chamberlin, Ph.D. of Brighton, MA, and Christine L. Chamberlin-Beaudet and her husband Joseph of Brockton, MA. Other survivors include her two sisters, Elizabeth H. Courtney and her husband John, Robin L. Meyer and her husband David both of Coxsackie, New York, and several nieces and nephews.
Beverley was born on December 4, 1946, in Tonganoxie, Kansas to the late Violet E. Mosley and was raised by her grandmother the late Elizabeth Bartlett. She was a 1965 graduate of Stoughton High School and worked many years in electronics. Beverley enjoyed a good gabfest with friends and family, going shopping, and planting or admiring flowers. Nothing brought Beverley more joy than the love of her life, David, cooking her breakfast (“Sunnyside-up” eggs, toast, and a good cup of tea). Beverley will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Funeral services for Mrs. Chamberlin will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 11 a.m. also in the funeral home. The Pastor, Rev. Stanley W. Schultz (Faith Baptist Church, Stoughton) officiating. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
