Sean Patrick Taylor

Sean Patrick Taylor, a 36 year resident of Stoughton passed away unexpectedly on Saturday October 22, 2016 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was 42 years old and the beloved son of Joseph J. Taylor Jr. and Candace M. (Cargill) Taylor of Stoughton, the cherished father of Brandon J. Taylor of Holbrook and the loving brother of Cristin N. Taylor of Stoughton, Joseph J. Taylor III of Stoughton and Todd J.Taylor of Manchester, NH. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Sean is also survived by his former wife and friend Elisha (Flint) Taylor.

Born June 9, 1974 in Worcester, Massachusetts Sean attended Stoughton Public Schools and was a 1992 graduate of Catholic Memorial High School. He later attended both Dean Junior College and Massasoit Community College. He was employed by Dunkin Donuts for many years. His hobbies included playing the guitar, singing, listening to music, disc jockeying and watching New England Patriots football. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday October 27, 2016 from 5 – 8 P.M. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. His funeral will be held on Friday October 28, 2016 at 9:30 A.M. from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Rt. 27. Stoughton. Fr. Derek Borek officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. In lieu of flowers, donations to The American Heart Association, 300 5th Avenue Suite 6, Waltham,MA 02451-8750 in Sean’s memory, would be appreciated.
