Donald Interrante Obituary

USMC Corporal and Korean War Veteran Donald G. Interrante, a longtime resident of Stoughton, formerly of Boston’s North End passed away at home on Sunday October 27, 2019 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was 86 years old and the beloved husband of the late Josephine A. “JeJe”(DiMino) Interrante who passed away in 2015. Donald is survived by his children, Donna PattIson of East Bridgewater, Jo- Ann Signori and husband Steven of Stoughton, Lori Langer of Stoughton, his sister, Vita Interrante Passariello of East Boston, his two brothers, Frank Interrante of Tewksbury, Charles Interrante of Florida, his grandchildren, Donald Signori and wife Amanda of Attleboro, Christopher
Signori of Hong Kong, China, Steven Signori of Avon, Gianna Johnson and husband Ryan of Abington, Jesse Moore of Connecticut, Jon Moore of East Bridgewater, Dan Interrante of Raynham, Katie Pozerski of New York City, Alex Valentine of Raynham, great-grandchildren, Juliette Signori of Attleboro, Arianna Johnson of Abington, Hannah Johnson of Abington and many nieces, nephews, friends that he loved and adored. Donald was also a brother to the late Richard Interrante of Florida and Janet Graziano
of Holbrook. 

Mr. Interrante was born April 22, 1933 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a son to the late Charles and Carmella (Indelicato) Interrante. He attended Boston Public Schools and later received his B.S. Degree in Engineering from Northeastern University. Donald proudly served his country during the Korean War. He was the recipient of the Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Ribbon, United Nations Medal and the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal. Donald was the owner of the former Jackson Glass Company in Jamaica Plain for many years. He was also a former teacher at the Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School. He attended and was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton and was a very active member of the Stoughton Senior Center, Stoughton Sons of Italy, Stoughton VFW, Stoughton Friends for Seniors Organization, and the Norfolk County TRIAD Group. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visiting hours for Donald will be held on Friday November 1, 2019 from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M. and Saturday November 2, 2019 from 8:15 A.M. - 9:15 A.M. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Funeral Mass will follow on Saturday November 2, 2019 at 10 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, (Rt. 27), Stoughton. Burial with military honors to follow funeral mass at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald’s memory can be made to The American Cancer Society, 1324 Belmont Street, Suite # 204 – 101, Brockton, MA 02301.
