Charlene A. Irving

Charlene Irving, 65, grew up in Canton, MA, long time resident of Stoughton, MA, passed away on November 16, 2017.

Born September 17, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Taylor and Kenneth Earl Grover. Siblings include her sister Ellen, brothers Richard, Raymond and Kenneth.
She is survived by her husband, James Irving; three daughters, Pamela Irving, Patricia Shade, and Paula Irving, two sons, James Irving Jr, and Matthew Irving, eleven grandchildren, Timothy, Dayshawn, Tessa, Cameron, Taylor, Jacob, Dominick, Trinity, Nathan, Olivia, and Lucas.

She was a loving and caring mother known to all as Ma. A person who always placed the needs of her children before her own, was a loyal friend to many, and mother-like figure to numerous neighborhood children. She was a long-time employee of Raytheon before retiring and truly enjoyed working there.
Memorial services will be conducted between 6-8pm, Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Munk Street, Stoughton, MA 02072.  Private internment will be held at a later date.
