JOSE CARVELO ANDRADE

Jose Carvelo Andrade 82, of Fall River passed away in Brockton on Monday December 11, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Maria L. (Rodrigues) Andrade for over 55 years. Mr. Andrade is survived by his son Richard R. Andrade of North Easton and his wife Theresa M. Andrade of Stoughton. Other survivors include his 3 grandchildren, Michael J. Andrade, Christopher M. Andrade. Nynna B. Andrade all of Stoughton, his brother Francisco Andrade and wife Belmira of North Port Florida and many nieces and nephews. He was also a brother to the late Elvira Eduardo.

Jose was born October 15, 1941, on the Flores Island, Azores, Portugal to the late Francisco Andrade and Rosa (Carvalho) Andrade. He was a machine operator at the former Arkles Corporation in Stoughton for 36 years. He was also a member of the Sociedade Filarmonica Sao Joao Stoughton, MÁ, the Holy Ghost Society of the Azores Inc. and the Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima Festa Organization, both also of Stoughton.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 20, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10a.m. - 12p.m. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Burial will follow at Dry Pond Cemetery, Stoughton.
