Vincent J Ardizzoni

Vincent J. “Vinnie” Ardizzoni a forty year resident of Stoughton, formerly of Somerville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday January 16, 2017. He was 85 years old and the beloved husband of Patricia A. (Itzo) Ardizzoni. He is survived by his loving children, Sharon Masucci and her husband Gerry of Walpole, John Moore and his wife Michele of Raynham, Michelle “Missy” Noe and her husband P. Scott of Stoughton, Patty Ann De Andrade and her husband John also of Stoughton, Donna Ardizzoni of Gloucester, Janet Fiore of Dracut, John Ardizzoni of Medford and Paul Ardizzoni of Gilford, New Hampshire. Other survivors include his cherished brother John Ardizzoni and his wife Sue of Lynnfield and 14 grandchildren. He was also a loving brother to the late Claire Hope.

Born February 9, 1931 in Somerville, Massachusetts, Vincent attended Somerville Public Schools and was a graduate of Somerville High School. He was employed as a salesman for the Christy’s Corporation for many years. Vinnie also volunteered his time for many years as a driver for the Stoughton Council on Aging. He was a communicant of St. James Church in Stoughton. His hobbies included golfing and playing the piano for various nursing facilities in Brockton and Stoughton as well as the Stoughton Council on Aging. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday January 19, 2017 from 9:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. A funeral mass of Christian burial will follow at 12 noon in the St. James Roman Catholic Church, 542 Page Street, Stoughton. The Rev. Derek Borek, officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Vincent’s memory, would be appreciated.
