Sandy Pascar, a resident of Stoughton, passed away comfortably / peacefully with her loving family and friends by her side at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Friday August 25, 2017. She was 70 years old and the beloved wife of Harley Pascar and the loving mother of Cindy Gallagher and her husband Kevin of Stoughton and Allen Kapson and his wife Lori of Holbrook. Other survivors include her two sisters, Gayle DiCenso of Foxboro, Carol Coyle of Cambridge, her brother Bernard Heaney III of Baldwinville, MA, her 4 grandchildren, Sophia Kapson and Michael Kapson both of Holbrook, Colleen Gallagher and Brendan Gallagher both of Stoughton and her great-grandchild Emma Kapson also of Holbrook.
Born June 9, 1947 in South Weymouth, Massachusetts Sandy was a daughter to the late Bernard J. Heaney II and Mary Rita Johnson. She was employed for many years as an Executive Secretary to the President of the Lappen Auto Supply Company in Quincy. Sandy attended Medical Research Classes at Northeastern University and was a Eucharistic Minister with the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton.
Sandys hobbies included, arts and crafts, painting, pottery, traveling to museums and zoos with family, artistry, baking with her grandchildren, horseback riding and going out to dinner with her husband and family. She also had a special bond with “all animals big and small.” Sandy will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday August 29, 2017 from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday August 30, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. from the funeral home followed by a funeral mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Rt. 27 Stoughton. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.
