Richard E. Frasier a lifelong resident of Avon, passed away at the South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth after a prolonged illness on Monday October 26, 2015. He was 73 years old and the loving husband of the late Barbara R. (Leonard) Frasier and a son to the late Albert M. and Josephine M. (Selansky) Frasier. Richard is survived by his loving children, Lisa A. Teed and her husband Edward of Randolph, Mark E. Frasier and his wife Lisa of Middleboro, Susan R. Bidorini and her husband Michael of Randolph. Other survivors include Jon Eldridge and his wife Melissa of Taunton and his beloved grandchildren, Sean, Haylee, Samantha, Alexandrea, Madison, Logan and Neal. He was also a brother to the late Robert A. Frasier.

Born November 7, 1941 in Stoughton,Massachusetts, Richard attended Brockton Public Schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School. Mr. Frasier proudly served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a Tool and Die Maker for the Pollak Manufacturing Company in Canton for many years. Richard was also an active member of both the Port Norfolk Yacht Club in Boston and the Holbrook Sportsman’s Club. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visiting hours will be held from the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton on Friday October 30, 2015 from 4 P.M. -  8 P.M.  A memorial service with military honors will immediately follow at 8 P.M. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Funeral services will conclude with a private Cremation on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Town of Avon, ATTN: Veteran’s Services Department, Avon, MA 02322 in Richard’s memory, would be appreciated.
