Raymond Kenneth Hillier, 37, of Whitman, died unexpectedly on September 19, 2015 at his home. He was the loving partner of Nikki Boulay for the last eight years. Born in Stoughton, he was the son of Jeannette Thompson, of FL, the late Raymond Wark, and the late Al Thompson, and lived in Whitman and Weymouth for most of his life. He was the father of Matthew Jordy. Raymond proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps as an Machine Gunner upon graduation from high school in 1997 until receiving his honorable discharge ranked as a Corporal in 2001. Always having a talent for working with his hands, he was an elevator mechanic through the International Union Elevator Constructors Local 4 Boston for the past 11 years. Those who knew Raymond best loved his infectious laugh and his charming smile, and they will miss his strong, straightforward nature. In addition to his partner, mother, and son, Ray is survived by his brother Lawrence Wark of Abington, brother Richard Wark of Quincy, brother Jon Leach of FL, niece Melissa Staklinski of FL, and step-siblings Julie Howie of Pembroke, Elena Mauro of Randolph, Al Thompson of Seekonk, and Cathy Thompson of Weymouth, along with several nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by his sister Michelle Staklinkski.
