Paula Archibald

Paula E. Archibald, of Wareham, formerly of Brockton and Stoughton, passed away on Tuesday September 12, 2017 at the Tobey Hospital in Wareham. She was 66 years old. Her survivors include her her sister Donna M. Archibald of Wareham and Florida, her brother David A. Archibald of East Bridgewater and her niece Kira Archibald also of East Bridgewater.

Born February 7, 1951 in Brockton, Massachusetts, Paula was a daughter to the late Alfred G. and Irene E. (Smith) Archibald. She attended Stoughton Public Schools and was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Paula also attended Bridgewater State College and where she received her B.S. Degree in Mathematics and Science. She was employed in her earlier years as a full-time teacher in New Hampshire and later on worked for many years as a Computer Programmer for the Interactive Computer Sciences Corporation.  She also enjoyed working at the cat shelter in Taunton. She will be missed by all  who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday September 15, 2017 from 5 P.M. -  7 P.M. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Her funeral service will  be held immediately following the visiting hours at 7:00  P.M. in the funeral home. Cremation will follow and her interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one’s choice in Paula’s memory, would be appreciated.
