Mildred A. (Pirrone) Polito, a devoted homemaker of Randolph, formerly of Boston, passed away in Brockton on Thursday May 19, 2016. She was 95 years old and the beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Polito. Mrs. Polito was the loving mother of Roseanne Rossi and her husband Joseph D. Rossi Sr. of Stoughton and Gerard Polito of Randolph. She was also the cherished grandmother of Joseph D. Rossi Jr. of Hyde Park and Annemarie Rossi of Stoughton and the loving great-grandmother of Devon Rossi – Benson of Stoughton. Other survivors include her loving sister-in-law Dorothy Pirroneof West Roxbury and many nieces and nephews. Mildred was also a beloved mother to the late Vincent P. Polito and a beloved sister to the late Rose (Pirrone) Polvere, Anne (Pirrone) Falcione and Joseph Pirrone.
Born June 19, 1920 in Boston, Massachusetts Mrs. Polito was a daughter to late John Pirrone and Mildred (Massara) Pirrone. Millie attended Boston Public Schools and was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School. She was employed by the J. Baker National Shoe Manufacturing Co. (Formerly the Morse Shoe Co.) in Canton,Massachusetts for many years. Mildred was a former member of the St. Michael’s Church Ladies Sodality Guild in Avon ,MA . She also enjoyed cooking and cake decorating. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
