Mary L. (Morse) Orr

Mary Louise (Morse) Orr, 92, a lifelong resident of Stoughton passed away peacefully on Thursday August 20, 2015 at the Southeast Rehabilitation Center in North Easton. She was the cherished wife of the late Charles Gammons Orr of Stoughton. She was the daughter of the late Mary (Raychard) and Walter E. Morse and sister to the late Walter Henry Morse. Mary  Louise was a 1941 graduate of Stoughton High School. She was also an active member of the First Parish Universalist Church in Stoughton and sang in the church choir for many years. Mary was employed at the Women’s Apparel Store in Stoughton for over 30 years. She loved her flower garden and adopted many cats and other pets throughout her life. She leaves her nieces and nephews: Linda (Bishop) Weiler, the late Bradford Wilbar, Shepard Wilbar, Sheila (Morse) Swanwick, Karol (Morse) Ketola and George Morse. Mary  Louise also leaves many great-nieces, great-nephews and many  friends.

Her graveside funeral service will be held on Monday August 24, 2015 at 10 A.M. at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mary Louise Orr to The First Parish Universalist Church Memorial Fund, 790 Washington Street, Stoughton,MA 02072.
