Leo R. Piche', a lifetime resident of Stoughton passed away at home with his loving family by his side on Sunday May 17, 2015. He was 59 years old and the beloved husband of over 34 years to Sandra Jeanne (Field) Piche'. Other survivors include his two loving children, Stephen A. Piche' and his wife Aimee Piche' of North Easton, William E. Piche'and his loving companion Krista Newton of Stoughton, his sister, Suzanne Mac Cormick and husband Robert of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, his cherished grandson Benjamin Piche' and several nieces and nephews. Leo was also a loving brother to the late Rosemary C. (Piche') Marden.

 

Born May 6, 1956 in Brockton, Massachusetts, Leo was a son of the late Roland and Elizabeth (Lanigan) Piche'. He attended Stoughton Public Schools and was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Mr. Piche' was employed as a Ironworker and Truck Driver for Boston Steel Fabricators for over 20 years and was a proud member of the Local 501 Ironworkers Union. Leo was also an active member and Past Scout Master with Cub Scout PACK 57 and Boy Scout TROOP 57 at the First Congregational Church in Stoughton. He enjoyed camping, stock car racing and had a keen interest in model trains and railroads. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

 

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday May 21, 2015 from 4 - 8 P.M. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. His funeral will be held on Friday May 22, 2015 at 9:30 A.M. from the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Followed by a mass of Christian burial for the repose of his soul at 11:00 A.M. at St. Jude The Apostle Church, 249 Whittendon Street, Taunton, MA . ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to STEAM ENGINE BSR #7, C/O The Maine Narrow Gauge R.R. Co. and Museum, 58 Forest, Portland,ME 04101.
