Ed and Betty were fantastic people. Jack and I loved them both. We shared many hours camping, visiting, playing cribbage. Ed was knowledgeable about many subjects and Betty had wisdom. We miss them dearly. Love to the family, Jack and Louise

Tom, Linda & Terry - My heart hurts for your loss. I am fortunate to have had many memories with him...Camping in Canada...The Track when he laughed and shook his head in disbelief at how excited I got when I won 10 cents...My T-Bird - he was almost as excited as I was when I bought it. I forgive him for lighting the cigarette in the car ;-) By far, my most favorite memory is the last time I saw him at the store; we chatted about life, work, travels, kids and much more.

He was so proud of the three of you, his daughter/son-in-law and granddaughters and loved you all with all of his heart. He will be with you always.

I offer my heartfelt condolences to the Melanson family and friends of Edgar. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. Our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) gives us hope at Revelations 21: 4 says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. May these promises from Jehovah God bring you comfort. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 11:23-25) Again, the family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences.

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Edgar. We want to offer his family our deepest condolences. We enjoyed many pleasant times with Edgar, Betty and family and shared many animated discussions. He was very proud of his family and cared for them deeply. He touched most people who knew him as he was a very genuine individual. He always called it as he saw it. He will be missed.

Thank you for your kind words. Our families always had a very special bond. My parents always had great stories of their time with you both. Camping or cars you'd have a conversation! Hope to see you next time you are here in the USA. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers!

Dear Melanson family, I am so sorry to have read of the recent death of your loved one Edgar. Please accept my most sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be very comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3-5. These verses tell us that soon Jehovah God through his son Christ Jesus is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones, as well as do away with all the causes we have for suffering including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will likewise comfort your family also during this most difficult time in your lives. If you would like to read these Scriptures online for free or find more comforting thoughts, please visit jw.org Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss.
Sincerely, Trudy Nowell - Panama City Beach, FL

Sorry to hear about your Dad. Paul and I enjoyed camping with Ed and Betty for many, many years with Big Blue. Was wishing to see him at last campout, as I do not camp that much since my Paul passed away. Ed always made me laugh and joke about something. My sincere Condolences.
