We drifted apart but our friendship was one of the best times in my life. We had so many good times just hanging out and bantering back and forth about cars or whatever else was the topic that evening. I wish I could have been there through harder times. I wish we could have stayed in those easy days forever. I only knew you for a short time compared to many but I still think about all the fun we had.

Trips to bass pro, fishing and never catching anything, sharing music, car shows, and just hanging out. I know I wasn't your best friend. I know you thought I was a square and kind of annoying. I miss you. How funny was that period of time you were obsessed with the jersey shore? You got all fired about about doing laundry! For weeks!

I haven't talked to anyone we hung out with in years since I took a different path but I can't forget. I miss you so much. I grew so much in the years we were friends and so much more in the years after. That girl I liked, Justine, we got married. I ended up getting a WRX like I always talked with you about. When I drive around I still look into the windows of Golf GTI's and Jeeps half expecting to see you driving one. I have been doing it for years. I didn't know you were gone.

To Andrew's family. I am sorry if this message opens old wounds that never really heal. He deeply loved you both. I'm sorry if it seems selfish and so very late of me but I don't know how else to say goodbye. I miss him too.

Goodbye old friend may you rest in peace. One day we will meet again.

Andrew,
Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. You were one of my first best friends on this planet. Our journeys to Maine brought us together and helped us make stronger bonds. Fishing, hiking, swimming, jumping off big rock and so so so many more. Tomorrow is your birthday and, as always, I'll be releasing a balloon for you. I loved you then and I love you still. Always have. Always will. ❤️

Nephew

Of all the many blessings
however great or small.
To have had you for a nephew
Was the greatest one of all.
The family chain is broken now
and nothing seems the same
But as God takes us one by one
The chain will link again.

RIP Andrew we miss you!!

Tonya and I are so sorry to hear about Andrew. He was a great kid, I watched him grow up along with my two children, Glenn and Sarah up at Ward pond in Maine. My children always used to hang around and play video games with him. My daughter is devastated by the news. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Dave and Mae and the entire family.

My heart is broken for you, Dave and for your wife even more, although I don't know her. I hope it helps you a little bit to know that our family truly loved and appreciated AJ's generous helpfulness, his work ethic and his genuine ability to help wherever he was needed. He added so much professional dignity and respect to Team 1153 and I just wanted you both to know that he was appreciated.
